From 2011.4.16 to 2011.4.17, 2011 China International Trenchless Technology Conference and Exhibition was held in Wuhan International Convention and Exhibition Center. It attracted almost 3000 person-times to visit exhibition and 260 representatives from all over the country to attend conference. Professor Yan Chunwen, Deputy Director of China Society for Trenchless Technology Professor Samuel Ariaratnam, Chairman of International Society for Trenchless Technology Mr. Matsui Daigo, Chairman of Japan Society for Trenchless Technology. Related leader of China Geognosy University in Wuhan Related specialist of Municipal Land and Resources Bureau Ms. Wang Honglin, General Manager of DW/TXS Construction Equipment (Beijing) Co.,Ltd.

The report “Research and analysis of Geological Society of China”made by Professor Yan Chunwen，Deputy Director of China Society for Trenchless Technology，and the report “Progress of American Trenchless technology” made by Mr. Samuel Ariaratnam, the chairman of International Society for Trenchless Technology, arouse great interesting and heated discussion around representatives after seminar.

“Sino-Japan Trenchless Technology Thematic Seminar” was especially held during this exhibition and conference. Both parties have signed the memorandum about co-operation between CSIT and JSIT and expressed that with the deep of co-operation and communication, CSIT and JSIT will hand in hand to enhance the bench of Asia trenchless technology, to promote communication of technology, and to improve sound interaction in industry. Then Mr. Matsui Daigo, Chairman of Japan Society for Trenchless Technology, made a report “Introduction of Japan society of trenchless technology”. Mr. Akitomo, director of association of Japan drainage technology promotion (JSTT deputy president), made a report“trenchless tunnel construction technology”. President of JSTT ,Mr.Nagano, also made a report “ Cleaning, review, and evaluation of recent tunnel and conclusion of tunnel renewal” replace for Mr.shinoda, director of association of Japan drainage and road management. Both parties exchange experience actively.

Varies of technology lectures are delivered during the exhibition. For example, Mr. René Albert, general manager of Vermeer for trenchless tunnel construction product, present a lecture “analysis of horizontal orientation drilling to enlarge a hole” Mr. Ji Naijing, sales director of Saertex, made a report “trenchless repair technology of drainage – ultraviolet solidation by glass fiber”. Mr.Zhang, consultant of 積水ＳＰＲアジア㈱, made a report “SPR-PE、SPR-EX trenchless tunnel”。 Mr.yasuda from ヤスダエンジニアリング㈱ made a report “introduction of drilling advance technology”and etc.

This exhibition attracted more than 90 organizations to participate in it, and 63 companies came to the site to exhibit their new technology and product after verification. Around 40 companies took more than 10 products and machineries to the exhibition center. The performance, quality, and appearance of domestic equipment in this exhibition are enhanced compare to the previous exhibition. International equipment manufacturer from American, Japan, Russia, German, India and etc. are also attracted to this exhibition. During the two-day exhibition, several sales contracted were signed. A lot of equipments and products were bought by the companies from Wuhan and Central China. We deeply believe that our industry has bright future.

Till 2011, we have held 15th China International Trenchless Technology conference successfully. During the conference this year, the “Photograph Exhibition for 15th anniversary” was held, aim to review the course of 15 years, and to look forward to the future. At the same time, 15th anniversary banquet was also held. During the banquet, we award a certificate to Ms. Wang Honglin, General Manager of DW/TXS Construction Equipment (Beijing) Co.,Ltd. She was selected as the star of year 2010 in China trenchless technology industry.

Before exhibition opening, association of China trenchless technology specialist meeting was held in the Wuhan convention and exhibition center. Members of association hear the report of conclusion for 2010 and plan for 2011, and 2010 financial report. Members have a heated discussion and balloted the women of 2010 in trenchless technology industry.
